Our plants have HACCP certification (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) for the production process of Fishmeal and Fish Oil. These plants have also been certified the System of Innocuousness and Good Manufacturing Practices used in the preparation of animal feed ingredients, called GMP B2 + and FEMAS, we are currently migrating to the IFIS standard. Additionally, we seek to strengthen our security and trade protection standards and have implemented the program of Business Alliance for Secure Commerce - BASC, obtaining the corresponding certification. We are implementing the system of prevention and minimization of environmental contamination in all our plants, and as a result already have two plants with ISO 14001 certification.

FISHMEAL AND OIL PLANTS

Quality and, GMP+ B2, HACCP

All our plants have the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system, also 14 of our 16 plants are certified under the International Standard IFIS (IFSA Feed Ingredients Standard) and one under the GMP + B2 standard with SGS del Peru, which allows us to offer our customers a safe and high quality product. We are currently implementing the GMP standard in the Ilo Plant and expect to receive the certification soon

 

Business Alliance for Secure Commerce: BASC 

In order to strengthen our security and trade protection standards, we have implemented the BASC Certification (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce) in all our Fishmeal and Fish Oil plants.

 

Environmental Management: ISO 14001

We maintain and demonstrate our environmental responsibility, because from 2007, the company TÜV Rheinland recommended the ISO 14001 certification for the North Callao and North Pisco Plants. The North Malabrigo, Supe, North Chimbote, South Pisco and Atico plants are all in the process of implementing ISO14001 and we expect to obtain certification during 2010.

Occupational Health and Safety Management OHSAS 18001

Since 2009, the Occupational Safety and Health System was recommended in order to obtain the OHSAS 18001: 2007 by the company TÜV Rheinland in the North Malabrigo, Supe, South Pisco. The North Callao and Atico Plants are in the process of implementation and expect to receive the certification during 2010.

HACCP Food Safety System 

Our Frozen Fish Plant has implemented the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) system, certified by Lloyd's Register, this system allows us to identify, assess and control any significant hazard through preventive measures and subsequent controls that ensure the safety and innocuousness of our products.

 

 

Business Alliance for Secure Commerce: BASC 

The Frozen Fish Plant which is part of our Callao Complex has the BASC Certification (Business Alliance for Secure Commerce), which allows us to secure trade from any unlawful activity.

 

 

Environmental Management: ISO 14001

The Environmental Management System ISO 14001 has been certified under this international standard since 2007 through the company TÜV Rheinland.

Among our commitments is that of providing a safe and healthy workplace for our staff, and that is why in 2009 we certified the Services at the Shipyard according to the scope of: Naval Design and Construction up to 300 TPM. and Modernization, Structural Changes, Maintenance and Naval Repair in the Shipyard up to 300 TPM with the company TÜV Rheinland.

Port Services and Control Services for the Shipment of Fish Meal in the Port of Atico are certified with ISO 9001:2000 by the Company SGS Peru since 2008.
