TASA IS THE FIRST FISHING COMPANY TO SIGN A CLEAN PRODUCTION AGREEMENT IN PERU

TASA, signed the first voluntary Clean Production Agreement (CPA) of the fishing sector with the Ministries of the Environment and Production, through which it commits to implement strategies for the efficient reuse of disused goods and the management of solid waste, thus marking a milestone in the development of the circular economy in the industry.

This donation from Grobest, demonstrates commitment to one of its core values: sustainability. 
TASA donates 16 tons of food to artisanal fishermen and vulnerable families

In line with its permanent commitment to the families that form part of the communities where it operates, the Peruvian fishing company TASA, delivered more than 10,000 kilos of frozen mackerel to thousands of artisanal fishermen and low-income families during the first week of April. This was done through each of the municipalities in the areas where it operates.

TASA, a company affiliated to the National Fisheries Society (SNP for its Spanish acronym), announced its membership as a partner to the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative (GSSI), a public-private organization that seeks to face sustainability challenges through sector collaboration in order to promote sustainable fishing products for all. Thus, the company will participate in dialogue tables to internationally expose all the sustainability actions for the care of the sea and the marine resource.

After four months of training, the TASA fishing company presented the first event aimed at the general public of its "La Red" artisanal fishing development program, which took place in Chimbote and consisted of a sustainable gastronomic fair in Plaza 28 de Julio on February 28th.
