TASA has 10 production plants distributed along the Peruvian coast, which allows us to produce different EPA and DHA profiles. We produce 50 thousand tons annually and our plants have a total storage capacity of approximately 35 thousand tons.
Crude oil is obtained at the beginning of the fishmeal production process. Here the anchovy is pressed to separate the solids, which will later become fishmeal. From the fatty material, oil will be stored in tanks, preserving the optimal levels of oxidation or freshness.
Fish oil is valued in the market for its great nutritional value of Omega 3 fatty acids, which is essential for the proper functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.
Main uses:
Input for refined and concentrated oil, intended for the nutritional supplements and pharmaceuticals industry. Additionally, it is used for aquaculture.
