Circular Economy
We evaluate potential waste and goods that are being lost from operations to then reinsert them into our activities, generating a new use. We have signed the following agreements:
- Net Positiva: Agreement signed with the social entrepreneurship Bureo and the NGO WWF, in order to transform the fishing nets at the end of their useful life into pellets to manufacture products such as skateboards, sunglasses, board games, among others.
- Convenio Reborn Perú: We work in collaboration with this environmental venture to recycle the used vegetable oil from our boats and plants and convert them into biodiesel. A 150 liters of oil are taken out quarterly, which if not managed correctly, could contaminate 150,000 liters of water.
We also recycle the batteries of our various equipment and transform cleaning sludge into compost.
